A mandala is a geometric configuration of symbols. It may be employed to focus attention as a "spiritual" guidance tool, for establishing a "sacred space". I certainly consider Independence Hall/Washington-on-the-Brazos a "sacred space" as it relates to Texas Independence ... a "spiritual journey", starting from outside to the inner core, through layers.
